TRIP THE LIGHT FANTASTIC TV DANCE & PERFORMANCE SCREENING

A three-day virtual dance marathon to moove your home groove.
A cyber collection of contemporary dance masterclasses, chit chats, events and meet’ups open to all -dance pros or dance lovers- and culminating in a dance and performance screening night hosted live by the historical double trouble choreographic duo Giuliana Majo & Jose Vidal.

Trip The Light is TripSpace’s flagship and independent night of contemporary performance, taking place since 2005. The evening always presents a maverick curation of new original work by emerging and mid-career independent dance and theatre-makers.
Trip the Light is back, playing from our screens to your screens: reaching further, daring more, experimenting heaps and luxuriously presenting:

Six dance masterclasses for pros
Three dance classes for all
Two family dances
Three coffee mornings for artists hosted by artists
Three artist talks
Three yoga classes for all

The festival culminates on Saturday 19th September 8pm with:

A digital night hosted live by the historical double trouble choreographic duo Giuliana Majo & Jose Vidal showcasing a carefully selected collection of videos, screen-dances, digital dance installations created in response to lockdown and sourced via TripSpace’s public call-out in July 2020.
