Montserrat Roig de Puig

Born in Portbou (a girl from the border), I moved to Barcelona to study acting at the prestigious Theatre Institute.

Moved by a great passion to experiment and see the world outside my native Catalonia I came to London to study at
 the Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

By pure chance I did a couple of auditions and got my first break in the UK simultaneously doing TV and theatre. Then life took its natural course and stayed in London…

London is my nest, and I fly from it whenever there’s a good professional opportunity. I have acted in Spain, England, Italy and France
.

Recently I’ve received five awards for the title role in “Meeting with Sarah Jessica“, directed by Vicente Villanueva in Madrid.

I have worked in features, theatre, TV, short films, as a presenter and voiceovers.
